Nigerian dancer and socialite Iweh Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, has been formally charged in the United Kingdom over five alleged sexual offences.
The charges reportedly include attempted rape, two counts of rape and two counts of assault by penetration.
Snaresbrook Crown Court in London confirmed the charges on Wednesday. The court’s Admin Team Leader, James Baker, also confirmed the details in an email to The PUNCH.
The court said a reporting restriction had been imposed to protect the identity of the complainant in accordance with the Sexual Offences (Amendment) Act 1992.
Poco Lee’s case is scheduled for plea and trial preparation on September 15, 2026, as proceedings continue.
The dancer had previously been linked to reports about the case, with his management and legal representatives urging the public to exercise restraint while the matter is before the court.
Poco Lee has not been convicted of any offence. The charges remain allegations until determined by the court.
