Job Description
Hiring: ASSOCIATE – COMMERCIAL & LITIGATION PRACTICE
A full-service law firm in Lekki, Lagos invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Associate.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must possess:
1. A good law degree from a reputable university and be called to the Nigerian Bar, with a minimum of 4–5 years’ post-call and NYSC experience in active legal practice.
2. A Second Class Upper Division (2:1) degree from both the university and the Nigerian Law School will be an added advantage.
3. A strong background in commercial law, including the drafting and review of commercial agreements, as well as litigation practice.
4. Excellent legal drafting, research, and analytical skills.
5. Strong written and verbal communication, advocacy, and interpersonal skills.
6. A high level of professionalism, integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
7. The ability to work under pressure, manage multiple assignments effectively, and consistently meet deadlines.
