Compensation: ₦100M per annum

Job Summary: The Managing Director is responsible for leading the bank’s Nigerian operations, ensuring sustainable profitability, and maintaining strict regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Digital Innovation
Develop and drive the bank’s national strategy to ensure long-term growth.
Spearhead digital transformation initiatives to modernize banking services and enhance delivery.
Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to expand the bank’s national footprint.
2. Financial Management
Deliver high-level financial performance with a focus on profitability.
Effectively manage the bank’s balance sheet and capital allocation.
Oversee budgeting processes and ensure financial discipline across all departments.
3. Governance, Risk & Compliance
Ensure the bank operates in full compliance with all Nigerian regulatory requirements.
Maintain a robust corporate governance framework and internal control environment.
Act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
The performance of the Managing Director will be measured by:
Financial Metrics: Return on Equity (ROE) and Return on Assets (ROA).
Market Growth: Overall Market Share expansion.
Innovation: Successful Digital Adoption rates across the customer base.

Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s Degree: Required in Finance, Business, or a related field.
Advanced Degree: An MBA is mandatory for this role.
Professional Experience
Minimum Tenure: 18–20 years of total experience in the banking sector.
Leadership History: Proven track record in executive-level decision-making and strategic oversight.
Core Skills & Competencies
Strategic Leadership: Ability to envision and execute large-scale corporate strategies.
Regulatory Expertise: Deep understanding of the Nigerian banking regulatory landscape and compliance standards.
Financial Acumen: Advanced knowledge of financial management, balance sheet optimization, and P&L responsibility.
