Jigawa State Polytechnic has commenced its first semester examinations for the 2025/2026 academic session, with the exercise beginning successfully on Monday, June 1, 2026.
The Rector of the institution, Suleiman Ahmed Badayi, monitored the conduct of the examinations across the campus and expressed satisfaction with the orderly atmosphere and level of compliance among students and staff.
Dr. Badayi commended students for their discipline and adherence to examination regulations, while also praising members of staff for their commitment to ensuring a smooth, credible, and peaceful examination process.
As part of efforts to support personnel involved in the exercise, the Rector disclosed that more than 873 bottles of water, assorted biscuits, and soft drinks were procured and distributed across the Polytechnic’s seven colleges to promote staff welfare during the examination period.
He reiterated the institution’s commitment to maintaining high academic standards and warned that the Polytechnic would continue to enforce its zero-tolerance policy on examination malpractice.
The management of the Polytechnic wished all students success in their examinations and encouraged them to remain focused and uphold the institution’s values throughout the exercise.
The first semester examinations are expected to continue in line with the academic calendar for the 2025/2026 session.
