Job Description
Hiring: Business Development Manager
Location: [Lagos / Remote]
Salary: NGN 1,500,000 – 2,000,000 + uncapped commission + equity.
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: [CEO / Head of Operations]
Job Overview
Our client builds a portfolio of enterprise cybersecurity products for regulated industries: Vigil (autonomous penetration testing), Crudguard (data-layer threat detection & evidence), Aurora (unified GRC and risk), and Drift (human-risk / social-engineering defense). We help banks and large enterprises continuously prove and improve their security posture.
We’re hiring a Business Development Manager to own revenue growth across all four products. You’ll open and close enterprise deals with CISOs, Heads of Risk, and security teams, primarily in financial services, running the full cycle from first conversation to signed contract, and acting as the commercial bridge between customers and our technical/founding team.
Key Responsibilities
Build and own a qualified pipeline of enterprise and financial-services accounts.
Run the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demos/POCs (with technical support), proposals, negotiation, and close.
Solution-sell the portfolio map Vigil, Crudguard, Aurora, and Drift to each customer’s specific risk, compliance, and security priorities.
Build trusted relationships with CISOs and security/risk leadership, and speak credibly to their regulatory drivers (CBN, NDPA, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001).
Develop channel and partner relationships (MSSPs, resellers, advisory firms) to extend reach.
Lead RFP/RFI responses and coordinate security and compliance due diligence.
Own and report against quarterly pipeline and revenue targets.
Feed market and competitive insight back into product.
Requirements
5+ years in B2B enterprise sales or business development, ideally in cybersecurity, SaaS, or fintech.
A provable and verifiable track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals and consistently hitting quota.
Experience selling to CISOs and security/risk buyers, with enough fluency in security and compliance (pentesting, GRC, detection, awareness) to lead a credible first conversation.
A strong existing network in financial services or regulated enterprises (major plus).
Consultative, self-directed, and comfortable in a fast-moving, founder-led environment.
Preferred Attributes:
Existing CISO / banking relationships in the target region.
Familiarity with CBN, NDPA, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, or SOC 2.
Early-stage / startup sales experience and comfort selling a multi-product portfolio.
