The Federal Cooperative College, Eleyele has matriculated 403 students for the 2025/2026 academic session.
At the ceremony held on campus in Ibadan, the Provost, Dr Abdulganiyu Ibrahim, urged the newly admitted students to prioritise integrity, responsibility and academic excellence throughout their stay in the institution.
Represented by the Dean of the School of Applied Sciences, Dr Onuyi Majebi, the Provost emphasised that admission into the college is not merely a pathway to employment but a preparation for leadership, entrepreneurship and societal transformation.
“Admission into this college is a preparation for leadership, enterprise creation and societal transformation,” he said, while stressing the institution’s zero-tolerance policy toward misconduct.
He warned against cultism, drug abuse and indecent behaviour, noting that strict disciplinary action would be taken against any student found culpable.
Ibrahim also encouraged students to resolve conflicts through official channels and uphold the college’s culture of religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
In his remarks, the Students’ Union President, Emmanuel Aluko, assured the matriculants of the union’s commitment to their welfare and urged them to remain focused on their studies while maintaining harmony on campus.
