The United Nations University Corridors for Refugees (UNICORE) Scholarship 2025 offers a fully funded opportunity for refugees residing in select African countries to pursue master’s degrees at Italian universities. Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for the UNICORE Scholarship 2025, applicants must:
Residency and Refugee Status: Be residing in one of the following countries: Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, or Zimbabwe, with recognized refugee status in collaboration with UNHCR.
Educational Qualifications: Hold a qualification valid for admission to a Second Cycle Degree Programme (master’s level) in Italy. The degree should have been obtained after 2020 and no later than April 15, 2025.
Academic Performance: Have achieved a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent, based on the grading system of the country where the tertiary education was completed.
Language Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in English, either through prior English-taught academic programs or official language certifications.
University Admission Requirements: Meet the specific admission criteria of the chosen master’s degree program at the participating Italian university.
Prior Enrollment: Not have been previously enrolled in a degree program at any of the partner universities participating in the UNICORE consortium.

Application Procedure:
To apply for the UNICORE Scholarship 2025, follow these steps:
1. Select Universities and Programs: Review the list of participating universities and available master’s programs on the official UNICORE website. Note that applicants can apply to a maximum of two universities and must indicate their order of priority.
2. Prepare Application Documents: Gather all required documents as specified above. Ensure that all documents are accurate, complete, and meet the specified criteria.

Selection Process:
The selection process comprises two main steps:
1. Document Assessment: Evaluation of submitted documents, including academic qualifications, CV, motivation letter or video, and reference letter.
2. Online Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online interview to assess personal and technical skills, as well as English language proficiency. Interviews are scheduled between May 12 and June 30, 2025.
