Backend Engineer (Part-Time, Contract)

About the Role
You’ll be building the backend systems that power a structured marketplace — from vendor onboarding to order processing and payments.
What You’ll Do
* Build and maintain backend services (Node.js, APIs)
* Design scalable systems for orders, vendors, and workflows
* Work with frontend engineers for seamless integration
* Improve performance, reliability, and system structure
* Deploy and manage services on cloud platforms
What We’re Looking For
* 2+ years backend experience
* Strong Node.js skills
* Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL)
* Familiarity with cloud (GCP/AWS)
* Clean, structured coding style
Bonus
* Startup experience
* TypeScript, Docker, CI/CD familiarity
