Company Description
Hiring: Sales Manager at Lytup Power Systems Inc.
Location: Opic Berger,Lagos State
Lytup Power Systems Inc. is scaling aggressively across West Africa and is seeking a high-performing Sales Manager with a strong focus on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This is a full-time, exclusive one-year contract designed for a sales leader who can generate revenue immediately. The role may convert to a permanent position based strictly on performance and deals closed.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead sales across Lytup’s energy storage–centered portfolio, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), solar solutions, Lytup monitoring hardware, and Energy Management Software (EMS).
* Drive revenue growth across both Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and residential market segments.
* Develop and execute high-impact sales strategies aligned with aggressive growth targets.
* Build, manage, and continuously expand a strong sales pipeline across West African markets.
* Engage and manage relationships with government agencies, private-sector clients, EPCs, developers, distributors, and strategic partners.
* Deliver accurate sales forecasts and detailed performance reporting.
* Represent Lytup at industry conferences, trade expos, and regional energy events.
* Collaborate closely with executive leadership, operations, and product teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
Required Experience
* Minimum 7 years of proven experience selling energy storage systems, inverters, or solar power solutions.
* Demonstrated ability to generate hundreds of thousands to multi-million-dollar revenues.
* Strong experience selling across multiple West African markets (including Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Liberia, and Gambia).
* Direct experience selling BESS or large-scale energy storage solutions is a strong advantage.
* Proven capability to sell both hardware and software-based energy solutions.
* Established relationships with EPC firms, distributors, government bodies, and commercial energy buyers.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and deal-closing skills with the ability to deliver results quickly.
Education
* Bachelor’s degree required.
* MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
Contract Details
* Exclusivity required: the role is dedicated solely to Lytup during the contract term.
* Conversion to a permanent position is performance-based and tied directly to closed deals.
Compensation
* Competitive monthly compensation.
* Performance-based bonuses linked directly to revenue generated.
* Additional incentives for closing large C&I projects and multi-site energy storage deployments.
