- We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Officer to oversee and coordinate inventory management activities within Kxpress. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock movement, ensuring optimal stock levels, and supporting efficient warehouse and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across assigned locations
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records
- Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of inventory items
- Ensure all inventory transactions are properly documented and updated in the system
- Prepare inventory reports and maintain accurate stock records
- Monitor stock movement and identify discrepancies, damages, or shortages
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of inventory items
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
- Identify and resolve inventory-related issues affecting operational efficiency
Qualifications and Requirements:
Educational Qualification
- A good first degree in Engineering, Logistics Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Professional Qualification
- Membership of relevant Inventory, Logistics, or Supply Chain professional bodies is an added advantage
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years post-NYSC experience in a similar Inventory or Warehouse Management role
Age Requirement
- 23 – 35 years
Functional / Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and stock control principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical and record-keeping skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
