The Convener of the Let There Be Teachers Conference, Oluwaseyi Anifowose, on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to the National President of the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS), Samira Jibril, to present the Guinness World Record plaque and official records from the previous conference.
The visit, which took place on March 11, 2026, also served as an opportunity to review the achievements of the last conference and discuss plans for the 2026 Let There Be Teachers Conference.
During the meeting, Anifowose commended NAPPS for its strong support and active participation in the previous edition of the conference. He noted that the association played a significant role by mobilising private school teachers and school leaders across Lagos State, contributing to the success of the event.
He described the partnership between the conference organisers and NAPPS as critical to advancing the teaching profession and strengthening educational development in Nigeria.
Anifowose also expressed optimism about the continued collaboration with the association ahead of the 2026 conference, noting that discussions focused on expanding participation and deepening engagement with educators nationwide.
Responding, the NAPPS National President reaffirmed the association’s commitment to the initiative and its readiness to support the upcoming conference.
She emphasised the importance of platforms that recognise teachers’ contributions and promote professional development within the education sector.
Both parties expressed confidence that the continued partnership would further promote excellence in teaching and enhance the capacity of educators across the country.
