NELFUND Disburses ₦15.03 Million to 146 College of Nursing Sciences, Gusau Students
The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has disbursed ₦15,028,000 to students of the College of Nursing Sciences, Gusau, Zamfara State, under its student loan programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to the disbursement record, the fund benefited 146 verified students, with the payment covering 100 per cent of their statutory charges.
The disbursement was made on June 24, 2026, as part of NELFUND’s ongoing effort to expand access to higher education by removing financial barriers for eligible Nigerian students.
The intervention ensures that beneficiaries can continue their nursing education without interruption due to tuition-related financial challenges.
NELFUND said the payment aligns with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which seeks to make tertiary education more accessible through interest-free student loans and institutional fee support.
The student loan scheme continues to provide financial assistance to eligible students across universities, polytechnics, colleges of education and specialised tertiary institutions nationwide, enabling thousands of beneficiaries to pursue their academic goals.
