Quality Education Development Associates (QEDA) has been honoured with a prestigious award from the Oando Foundation to lead an educational initiative known as #Learnovate.
This project aims to address learning poverty by enhancing foundational literacy and numeracy skills for pupils in Primary 1-3 in public schools.
According to a post shared on Linkedin the project will be piloted in selected local government areas across three states: Ebonyi, Sokoto, and Plateau, focusing on communities most in need of significant educational intervention.
QEDA, renowned for its commitment to education reform, considers this partnership a vital step towards achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4), which prioritises inclusive and equitable quality education for all.
Speaking on the collaboration, QEDA stated:
“This initiative underscores our shared dedication to ensuring every Nigerian child has access to quality education. Together with the Oando Foundation, we aim to strengthen foundational learning and bridge the gap in literacy and numeracy skills within public schools.”
Learnovate serves as a clarion call for stakeholders to reimagine foundational education in Nigeria, cultivating a generation of learners equipped with the skills to excel academically and contribute meaningfully to society.
